Alex and his team are absolutely amazing! The most difficult thing of all the build was actually making the decision to do it. I was very anxious and unsure whether to go ahead and thought it was too big a job for me to take on. Alex was very supportive, understanding and supportive from beginning to end. He told me I had to choose what was going into the renovation, and he would take care of the rest. He did however traipse around behind me while I tried to choose fittings and tiles. To his credit he managed to maintain a sense of humour. The timing of the build was spot on. He is very organised and kept me informed of what was happening on a daily basis. I felt very at ease working with Alex and was impressed by the people he surrounds himself with. I am extremely happy with the end result and have no hesitation recommending him to anyone thinking of doing any renovations to their home.

My house was a nightmare. A very old, falling-down timber cottage, with poor drainage, inadequate and rotting stumps, and a decaying deck and pergola. All the house walls, floors and ceilings were out of plumb, and there were wall cracks and gaps everywhere. A friend highly recommended Alex, who calmly and professionally developed a plan that involved engineering, restumping, site draining and plumbing expertise, ensuring the house will last for many more years. The replacement deck and pergola are beautiful and well made, and the interior repairs and finished results are miraculous. Alex and his team were all wonderful to deal with. Alex communicate regularly with updates and responded promptly to my queries. The project was completed on time (only 7 weeks!), on budget, and with a minimum of stress for me. I can’t recommend Atli Building Company highly enough. They turned my nightmare into dream home.

We had the pleasure of working with Alex and the team for our bathroom renovation in July 2025. From the start, Alex was incredibly helpful and responsive and maintained this throughout the entire process. From design support all the way through to final walk through, Alex made our first experience with a renovating project very smooth. He was consistently supportive and was quick to problem solve with any issues that arose (as expected with any renovation). We had little interaction with the tradespeople as we did not live at the house while construction occurred but overall, they seemed respectful and we were very happy with their approach and the final outcomes, along with the project being finished according to the set timeline. We did face issues with the painter that was used for this job where we were not entirely happy with his process, however many attempts were made to rectify the issues we raised but unfortunately, we were not happy with the final result. Nonetheless, Alex listened to our concerns and provided options to move forward and importantly, always made us feel at ease throughout, which is is why I still give 5 stars. Would certainly recommend Alex and his team for your next renovation.
